Privacy Policy
PingRoute is built to run entirely on your device. This page explains exactly what that means.
1. Data Collection
PingRoute does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. The app has no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, and no account system.
2. Network Probing
PingRoute sends ICMP ping and traceroute requests directly from your device to the hosts you specify. These requests go only to the targets you enter — never to a PingRoute-operated server, because none exists.
3. Data Storage
Saved targets, favorites, ping history, application settings, and exported telemetry (CSV, JSON, ASCII reports) are all stored locally on your device. PingRoute has no mechanism to access this data remotely.
4. Third-Party Services
PingRoute does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Distribution through the Microsoft Store is subject to Microsoft's own store policies, which are separate from this policy.
5. Your Control
You can delete saved targets, clear history, or reset settings at any time from within the app. Uninstalling PingRoute removes its local data along with it.
6. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the update will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
7. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to pingroute@harmanita.com or raised as an issue on the GitHub repository.
